| 1. The first one is easy, bring your child! Sounds simple but many parents have very busy schedules and can not coordinate times with their kids. It is very important to have your child's feet there to be fitted properly. We open 8:00 a.m. each morning and have extended hours during our busy seasons. If all else fails, at least bring in their latest shoe or sneaker so we can get a reference to their size. |
| 2. Bring socks. What your child likes to wear for socks or tights can affect the fit or their shoes or sneakers. We carry a wide variety of hosiery products and fit can be dependent of what your child wears on their feet. |
| 3. Plan ahead. Your child may have narrow or wide or just regular feet and we may be out of stock in their particular size and width. Between our two locations we can typically have the product you need within 24 hours at either store. If we are out of stock at the time we order on a weekly basis and can usual accommodate your needs, as long as our suppliers have the merchandise. Orders usually take two weeks to arrive. |
| 4. We can't predict growth. We fit children shoes with an adequate amount of growing room - not too big and not too small. We are proud of our staff, which has logged over 600 years of combined experience in the footwear industry, and their ability to suggest the proper fit. We do our best but growth is part of nature, which we all know can not be predicted. Children's feet can spurt through sizes then plateau there for a while. |
